El terreno donde se construyeron estas dos casas está ubicado al borde de una pequeña cañada que lleva agua de temporal. Por su ubicación, esta zona tiene gran presencia ante la parte alta de la loma, donde se proyecta construir más unidades; por ello, más que dos casas, una solución escultórica en ocho volúmenes parecía lo mejor. Así, respondiendo a las necesidades y programas de cada casa, se diseminaron en el terreno los ocho volúmenes, enterrándolos parcialmente al borde de la cañada y cubriendo con el terreno natural la circulación que los une a lo largo de toda la casa, de manera que los espacios entre ellos parecen simular ventanas abiertas a la vista del paisaje.
The land where these two houses were built is located on the edge of a small ravine through which water fl ows at given points in the year. Its location gives this zone a great presence in front of the higher part of the hill, where more units are planned. A sculptural solution in eight volumes made for the best choice for more than two houses. Responding to the necessities and programs of each house, the eight volumes were scattered around the plot. They were partially buried at the edge of the ravine, and the circulation that binds them through the length of each house was covered with natural terrain, in such a way that the spaces between them seem to simulate windows open onto the view of the landscape.
